The Supreme Court of Ohio has set no oral arguments for the month of April. This is probably because the court needs time to catch up on its submitted cases. Arguments resume May 5.  Traditionally, the court tends not to hear new cases for most of the summer.  Unlike the U.S. Supreme Court, which decides all its submitted cases  by the end of June and starts up anew the first Monday in October, the Ohio high court has no equivalent official  term.  This fall, though,  there are no judicial elections to interfere with the court’s work.
